Insurance and Billing

By visiting Digestive Endoscopy Center, you’ll experience the convenience of having your procedure done by your doctor the same way as in the hospital. You’ll find our facility to be of the highest quality and convenience as well as less expensive.

Digestive Endoscopy Center, LLC accept most major insurances. As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance carrier for you; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage is between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays, co-insurance and/or deductibles. To better help you understand our billing process, please read the Billing Information Form.

We accept cash, check or credit card. If you have any billing questions, please call us at (937) 293-0773.

You will receive an easy to understand, all-inclusive bill for office visits provided at Digestive Endoscopy Centers. In order to provide you with the best care possible, multiple services are combined for a procedure, but must be billed separately. This means you may receive up to four statements for different aspects of your care. There will be a statement from Digestive Endoscopy Center, LLC for the facility and equipment fees along with a statement for anesthesia services. You will receive a statement from GI Pathology of Dayton only if a polyp is removed or tissue is biopsied.

The Cost of Your Procedure

Because you are responsible for costs for covered healthcare services until you reach your deductible, you should comparison shop if you elect to have a nonemergency procedure.

You can use tools like Healthcare Bluebook and the Medicare Procedure Price Lookup (for Medicare patients).  Many health insurance websites also provide information on where to find in-network services.
